Registration for 2024 – 2025 Family Faith Formation is OPEN!
Family Faith Formation is a centerpiece program in our Family Ministry at St. Joseph.
The primary purpose of Family Faith Formation is to build the bond of faith inside the home. It is catechesis that grows all members of the household as individuals and a family.
This is not CCD or Catholic School religion class. It encourages not only learning about the faith, but living the faith as a family and faith community.
A major component of our program is focused on parents and adult development. We have monthly parent sessions where we go deeper into our faith by incorporating the church fathers, theologians, the Catechism, and saints. As parents, we want to be comfortable with sharing our faith with our kids and confident to speak about what we believe.
Inside the home our children grow through a variety of family activities and discussions.
Finally, we come together with other families once a month. The children are given some time to interact and learn with their peers and we conclude each session with activities or service projects as a community.
Family Faith Formation is open to ALL families with any children in grades K-8 regardless of where they go to school. It is encouraged for all families in public, private, home, and Catholic schools.
The Family Faith Formation program will run from September to May.
A full schedule of parent and community sessions will be released at a later date.
